Wendy Love Anderson earned a PhD in the history of christianity from the University of Chicago. Her primary research involves medieval Christianity and Jewish-Christian relations. She teaches Interdisciplinary Introduction to Children's Studies in the fall and elective courses on childhood and religion in the spring. She also co-leads the Kling and Applebaum Undergraduate Honors Program seminar throughout the year. Her first book, The Discernment of Spirits: Assessing Visions and Visionaries in the Late Middle Ages, was published in 2011.
